Judging Process

Each initiative will be reviewed by a multi-disciplinary panel of clinicians, academics, nurses and patient representatives in the field of MS.

There are 8 categories aimed at:

    • MS specialist nurses
    • Other nurses working in MS
    • Allied health professionals, including physiotherapists and occupational therapists
    • Neurologists – specialist registrars and consultants
    • Pharmacists
    • GPs
    • District nurses, practice nurses, community matrons
    • Healthcare professionals working in the community, a hospital or primary care setting, a nursing care home or a rehabilitation or palliative care setting

Nominations for individuals and/or teams must clearly highlight why they deserve to be nominated and the contribution they make to improving the quality of life and experience of care for those with MS.

Entries must also demonstrate how a particular service is innovative and improves the patient experience.

The QuDoS in MS – Recognising Quality in the Delivery of Services in Multiple Sclerosis – programme is a fantastic opportunity to gain recognition from your peers, the NHS and industry for the difference you make to the lives of people with MS.

Once the entry deadline of Monday 12th September 2022 has passed, all initiatives will be submitted for review as part of a pre-selection process. If your entry is successful you will be contacted by the team at a mutually convenient time to discuss your entry further. Final entries will then be submitted for review by the judging panel. Final shortlisted entries will be announced October 2022 and finalists will be invited to attend the presentation ceremony on Saturday 25th March 2023 at the Jurys Inn, Hinckley, Leicester.  See the full list of judges here. here.
