QuDoS 2023 Highlights Video

Innovation, creative problem solving, dedication, and compassion were all hot topics at this year’s Quality in the Delivery of Services (QuDoS) in MS recognition ceremony. The first in-person event for the programme after a brief pandemic-related hiatus.

On Saturday 25th March, healthcare professionals from across the UK united in Leicester to celebrate the impact that hard-working specialist teams have on people living with MS every day.

The ceremony, which was held at the Leonardo Hotel on the eve of the MS Trust’s annual conference, was just one part of the QuDoS in MS programme. In a first for QuDoS in MS, winning entries were also given an opportunity to tell their story and discuss the challenges and successes involved in delivering their initiative with attendees during the MS Trust’s annual conference.

Launched in 2016, the programme is designed to showcase the wealth of innovation and excellence on display in MS management and service delivery.

For the last six months, MS health professionals and previous QuDoS nominees have been sharing their examples of best practice through the QuDoS website and resource hub.

This is set to continue as the QuDoS team works with the 2022/23 winners, and also those who received commendations, to develop and share case studies – in a bid to ensure teams up and down the country can replicate their work.

Paul Tunnah, CEO, pharmaphorum, said: “The QuDoS programme sits at the core of our belief in ‘bringing healthcare together’ – recognising and disseminating the very best service delivery in Multiple Sclerosis.”

David Martin, CEO, MS Trust, and judging panel member, said: “Sometimes some of those really small changes in some of the smaller centres, which perhaps don’t always win the headlines – they make such a difference for the lives of those people living with Multiple Sclerosis.”
